Brand vs Logo

We sometimes hear people say ‘brand’ when they might really mean ‘logo.’ In the words of Inigo Montoya “I don’t think that word means what you think it means”. We’re guilty of it too. It’s easy to think of branding as the visual side of a company or organization but that’s only part of it. A brand is a person or user’s gut feeling about your product, service or organization. Think about when you see the little redheaded Wendy’s logo. It’s not just a logo to you, there are thoughts associated with their brand that comes to mind. Your brand doesn’t stop with your logo, website, or product. It the whole 360º customer experience a person has.
