We recently launched an updated brand and website for Ulliman Schutte Construction, a national leader in the construction and renovation of water treatment plants, pump stations, and associated utilities. As Ulliman Schutte has grown over the years, their branding and marketing had fallen into disrepair - that’s when they reached out to Antistatic.
We were invited by their leadership to discuss and share our methodology for refreshing their branding, website, and marketing. After a few follow-up conversations, the contract was signed and we dove in! We lead the senior leadership and marketing staff through our Brand DNA Discovery process and presented them with several different branding concepts and rationale. After positive discussion we revised their selected concepts and improved on them with each review until the final branding package was approved. The final branding package included new logo files, brand guidelines documentation, and supporting marketing materials including: fact sheets, letterhead and business card templates.
With this "brand" new foundation, Ulliman Schutte asked us to rework their web strategy. Their previous website was built on an old version of Joomla which had been extremely difficult for the staff to maintain. Using the website on a tablet or phone was a horrible user experience but ultimately it came down to the fact that the website didn’t represent their brand well. It was clearly time for a ground-up redesign. We presented the marketing team with an audit of their content along with our recommendation for the new site’s information architecture. We surveyed the competition and provided direction for best practices, competitive opportunities and customer experience (CX). Next, we designed several key wireframes to visualize the user experience and when these were approved, we provided several concepts for the polished user interface. The responsive front-end programming was coupled with a powerful content management system (ExpressionEngine) to provide their staff with the ability to manage their pages, add photos and video, along with several other features. Their new and responsive website provides everyone with an excellent user experience to learn more about their business, explore case studies of their work and more.
