When the MINI John Cooper Works Racing Team decided to go after the racing giants, they selected Antistatic to create a website that tells their story.
The MINI John Cooper Works Team entered the 2015 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge as a brand new team with cars never before tested on track. With their long history in motorsports, MINI was ready for the challenge ahead. Ever since John Cooper first exploited the racing potential of the classic Mini in the early 1960s, his name has stood for success and performance on the race track with MINI.
As a new racing team owned and operated by LAP Motorsports in Indianapolis, the MINI John Cooper Works Team hit the ground running in order to get the shop setup, race-prep the cars, and coordinate their hectic schedule since day one. This left little time for marketing. That's where we stepped in. The MINI John Cooper Works Team partnered with us to create a fully responsive website built on ExpressionEngine for easy edits and updates whether in the shop or beside pit lane. The results speak for themselves with immersive imagery, sponsor and driver highlights and up-to-date news and race results.

The strategy for the homepage design was to showcase the cars, highlight the team, and provide pathways for users to discover additional content and avenues to connect.
The News page of the MINI JCW Team website was designed to highlight important news stories and provide an archive of previous updates and press releases.
