One of the key components for any healthcare organization or network of healthcare providers is the ability to find a doctor that meets your needs. HealthSpan came to us needing a complete overhaul of their physician search tool to address that need. The old system was outdated, slow, difficult for users, hard to update...etc. Through our discovery process, Antistatic and development partners Visual Chefs, set out to define the criteria of the project, search parameters, data structure and other key elements. Once these specifications were complete, we proceeded with the design process which included information architecture, user interface wireframes, user experience testing, and responsive design.
Upon completion of the design, Visual Chefs built a custom application to automatically import new physician data allowing HealthSpan’s members always receive the most up-to-date information possible.
HealthSpan’s new Provider Lookup Application offers a few other key features; the ability to email and text provider information, advanced search functionality, the ability to compare physicians, get directions, and many more. If interested, watch the provider lookup demo video here.
