Fisher Guiding approached Foster Made to reinvent their entire online process to help their business grow. Foster Made led them through strategic discussions, information architecture design, and created a series of wireframes to illustrate the user experience. It was here that FosterMade reached out to us to help take their strategy and push it to the next level.

After a few discovery sessions which explored Fisher Guiding’s brand and creative direction, we wanted to capture the outdoors while keeping the visual design system, clean and simple. Working to create the right balance, we designed several different concepts for the homepage and other key screens. After some iteration and polishing, the final designs were built by Foster Made on a custom backend for FisherGuiding.

Responsive Website Design Foundation
The entire website was designed and built to be fully responsive which allows users and content managers to have the best possible user experience no matter what device they prefer.

Fisher Guiding Final Homepage Design
The final homepage design's initial focal point is the large call to action prompting users to search for a fishing trip. As the user scrolls down, they are formally introduced to Fisher Guiding and see a few of the popular destinations.

 

Trip Listing Page
Once a user makes a location selection, they are taken to a page that lists the various trips and guides available for their date range.

Guide Information Page
After the user selects a trip, they are presented with the trip details, options, reviews, and reservation information.
